A Grave Affair: Celebrating the 200th Anniversary of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
NORFOLK —  In celebration of the 200th Anniversary of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, join us for an afternoon of spoken word theater, featuring the works of Washington Irving, Hudson Valley tales, and fascinating facts about the beloved author.
This virtual event takes place on Zoom on November 1 from 4 to 5 pm. Follow storyteller Linda Schuyler Ford into the timeless tale of Washington Irving’s Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and find yourself utterly immersed in the world of Ichabod Crane, and his dreaded encounter with the mystical Headless Horseman!

Election Post-Mortem with Dr. David Barker
NORFOLK —  The Scoville Library presents Dr. David C. Barker, Director of the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies at American University, who will deliver a post-mortem on the 2020 elections and a broader discussion of the state of American politics. He will address questions such as why are we so divided and whether deliberative governance is still possible. This virtual event takes place on Zoom on November 7  from 4 to 5 pm.
