Fall Foliage Festival
WINSTED — The 22nd Friends of Main Street Fall Foliage Festival will take place on Saturday, September 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. downtown on Main Street in Winsted between the YMCA and Case Avenue — rain or shine.
As part of the event there will be 70 participants including local artisans, businesses, and community organizations. There will also be food trucks and live music. Admission is free.

Highland Lake Hustle
WINSTED — The 5K Highland Lake Hustle road race will start at 9 a.m. The race includes a 5K race around Highland lake along with a 1 mile kids run and 2 mile adults walk.
All funds raised goes to support subsidized memberships to the Northwest YMCA.

WINSTED — Temple Beth Israel at 74 Park Place announces its schedule for High Holiday Services:
Rosh Hashanah Services:
Monday, Sept. 30 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Kiddish and Tashlich 12:30 p.m.
Yom Kipper services:
Tuesday, Oct. 8, Kol Nidre, 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 9, 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday Oct. 9, study session: 5:30 p.m. Ne’ilah 6:30 p.m. Break—fast 7:30 p.m.
Services will be led by Rabbi Carol Glass and Cantorial Soloist, student, Josh Schreiber Shalam.
