NEW HARTFORD — The annual New Hartford Day held on Sunday, Sept. 15 at Brodie Park, was a celebration of the town, its residents and its organizations.Participants included Boy Scouts Troop 19, Scouts Troop 2019, New Hartford Women’s Club, Eureka Grange, New Hartford Fire Department, and The Licia and Mason Beekley Community Library.
Members of the State Police and the Department of Motor Vehicles volunteered to sit in a dunk tank to raise funds for Project Playground while there were other activities including a bounce house for children.
“I have been here for 20 years and I think New Hartford is great,” resident and Scout Troop Leader Alesia Kennerson said. “This truly is a town for all seasons.”
